Your images have a lot more colors than you might think.  This can cause issues for HueForge, especially when using Color Match mode.  ColorSmith is a tool to intelligently reduce that color count, often more than 99.9% while keeping very similar quality.  Unlike other posterize or quantize tools, it is detail aware and doesn't remove details in most cases.

Despite having a very smart algorithm, sometimes it still reduces colors or details that you wanted in your image.  ColorSmith knows this and has a set of pinpoint refinements that can be run to recover colors or details that were lost.  Each refinement also includes a built in short tutorial on how it is used.  Click the ? on the menu to find out how to use it.

ColorSmith Standalone application (coming soon) also includes this plugin so you don't need both.  ColorSmith Plugin license is the same as your current HueForge license.
