ColorDrop analyzes your color stack and finds where the same filament appears at different heights. It splits your model into nested pieces and slots them together for you. Your total print becomes significantly shorter and faster to print than the original.
A 4-color Color Pop with 5 filament swaps nests the color inside the Grayscale, reducing the white ring effect and overall height while keeping the awesome texture that HueForge is known for. Print times are reduced much more by lowering the number of layers by nearly half than the extra swaps add (some prints don't even have more swaps).
How it works:
You designed your filament painting in HueForge. ColorDrop reads your filament stack, identifies shared colors, and automatically suggests where to split. Each piece nests inside the next — the top of one becomes the floor of another. Load them all into your slicer as a multi-part model and print.
